Welcome to Speech Therapy!!!

All About Me
I am a 1999 graduate of Latta High School. I attended Columbia College and received a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology in 2003. I
also completed the requirements to become a certified teacher in the speech-language field. I completed the Master's program at the University of South Carolina in Speech Language Pathology in 2005 and graduated with +30 hours of credit. I am currently licensed by the South Carolina State Licensure Board in Speech-Language Pathology. I also hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology. I have been practicing speech therapy in the schools for eight years. Before becoming a speech therapist at the Latta Early Childhood Center, I worked at Hannah-Pamplico Elementary/Middle School. Prior to working with young children, I treated patients at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital.
I live in Latta and I am married to Jeff Bley a former teacher and coach at Latta High School. He is currently the head girl's basketball coach at South Florence High School. I have two wonderful children. My beautiful daughter, Emma, is five years old and attends 5K at LECC. My handsome son, JP, is four years old and attends 4K at LECC. When I am not conducting therapy, I love to run for exercise and read books!
Your child will receive a red folder on his/her first day of speech. The red folder will serve as communication about your child's progress in speech and his/her success on speech work. Often, homework will be included in the speech folder and your child will receive a reward for being responsible for his/her folder on a periodic basis. I am looking forward to working with your child this year!
Homework will go home in your child's red folder on a weekly basis.
