Congratulations to Travis Wynn for being named our class Star Student. Travis is a very hard worker, a super citizen, a fabulous friend to all, and always does her best. Way to go Travis! Keep up the great work. On another note of congratulations, the following students have completed their reading logs: Allison Thompson, Hannah Arnette, Maya Cochran, and Mervin Thompson. Good job ladies and gentlemen!
We will be going on our First Grade Field Trip to the Myrtle Beach State Park this Friday!!!! Here are a few things you may want to think about when getting your child ready for this fun endeavor...be sure they are at school on time (we will be hitting the road as quickly as we can), they should wear shorts and FLIP FLOPS (sand isn't fun to deal with in tennis shoes), put sunscreen on before they leave home (we won't have time to apply before we leave the school and they may lose it if they bring it with them), if you signed up for a lunch box, don't forget to send it Friday morning (I only ordered enough lunches from the lunch room for the boys and girls who requested bag lunches), don't send any money (we aren't going shopping). Hope these tips help. It should be a lot of fun. Please encourage your child to behave, listen and pay attention to his/her surroundings.
